We were excited for this 5 star hotel. While staying in Buffalo we visited the hotel and looks are deceiving. Called the spa in the hotel and couldn’t reach anyone. We inquired at the desk days later to see if they were open? They transferred us to someone in the spa. They were closed and the excuse was people were out sick. No openings as well. The amenities on the website are not in place. No shuttle service at this time, and no breakfast room service. Room is beautiful however mechanical issues, decor broken and stained sheets. Housekeeping currently stationed on a chair near the elevator is waiting to clean out suite. I explained we would not be leaving for hours. Limited staff on weekends and no management present. When calling for room service transferred to the restaurant and whom ever picked up the room service call stated “ room service is closing”, she was misinformed and rude. She then transferred the call to the restaurant and they took our order. Shortly after placing the call- received a call back and was told we do not serve breakfast room service. Stated they only have one server on staff. Stated “bringing to the room we cannot do”. If you are in the Theater district stay at the Westin - amazing service, way less expensive, have room service and all the amenities. Close to $600 per night For the Curtis! What a disappointment. Need to have star rating lowered. On a good point reception when we came in very good. David our server at the restaurant amazing!

Great location - terrific hotel. We really enjoy this hotel and have stayed there twice while visiting Buffalo. Bring a swimsuit for the hotsprings! Nice bar, comfortable rooms with amazing toilets. Only downside this trip was we heard people at all hours through the ceiling vent in the bathroom, which in this room configuration was right beside the bed.

One of my favorite places to stay. It is a beautiful hotel with great rooms and services. The rooms are unique in that they have a central control for all of the features (lights, temp, blinds, etc). It is impressive. I recommend checking put the rotating bar while you are there as I dont know of many others! Truly unique!

This hotel is nice but not for the price. I had a double king room. There were 3 of us staying in the room. There was not desk chair and no chair for the vanity in the bathroom. This was not a deal breaker as we were using the desk to put all of our snacks on but for the price of the room I thought we should have had chairs. I said something to the front. desk and asked them if we are supposed to have a desk chair and a vanity and they said of course. They said they would make sure we had chairs. We never received them. There was a small space in the fridge for food. For the price of the room there should have been a bigger fridge. There also was not extra toilet paper or tissues. When they cleaned our room they left garbage on the floor. Valet staff was awesome however. The clock was broken in the gym. I'm not trying to be picky but for the price everything should have been spectacular.

my family/friends walked in to check in for our two room bookings for my 23rd birthday & they were rude. They lied multiple times on many different things! Terrible front desk workers. I would write it all but sadly no room in box. Called manager, have yet to hear back! Terrible. I would love to explain all reasons they lied and sucked. Terrible experience for two expensive room stays! Do better Curtis.
